Times and dates are announced for the Heineken Champions Cup – quarter-final fixtures.

The first game of quarter-final weekend will be Munster V current champs, Toulouse at 3pm at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday 7 May.

Then at 5.30pm, Leinster will be away to the Leicester Tigers at Welford Road, in what will be a repeat of the 2009 final.

Also, today the “Nugget” (Sean Cronin) of Leinster announced his retirement. The 36 year old has 72 international caps. The Limerick native played 2 games for Munster before spending 2 years at Connacht before a moving on the Leinster in 2011. Cronin scored 225 points in 204 appearances for Leinster.

Cronin will become head coach of St Mary’s RFC next season.
